Shimano waterproof bag is light and able to fold for storing into your cabin bag.  During offshore trips, this bag prevents your phones, cameras, wallets and etc from getting wet.  It also allows you to store all your tackle for a day's fishing in one bag that can be left on the deck of a boat and stay dry. Many small boats in exotic locations do not have dry storage available, and when it rains, or gets rough, all your gear can get wet. Tips from my experience:  Please wax, or silicone spray, all zippers before going offshore.  Most of the time, we tend to forget to wash our zippers and as saltwater hardens up, your bag zipper is gone!
