These lightweight anodised aluminium pliers are as good as anything on the market, but at less than half what you pay for Accurate or Fisherman pliers. These are the first pliers we have ever seen that have a split ring opener that will handle all sizes of split rings, AND a braid cutter that actually works, all built into the same pair of pliers. These pliers, and the Owner GP60 pliers, are the only pliers we have found that open a size #11 split ring wide enough to get a Jobu hook onto it. Amazing but true!!

We have tested these pliers over a 4 month period with our guides, and they are exceptionally strong, they will not rust, and have proven to be extremely popular.

We do reccomend that you only use these pliers as split ring pliers, and braid cutters. They are designed to be lightweight and strong, but they are not designed for levering large hooks out of HUGE fish. We have heard a couple of reports of bent split ring openers while trying to remove hooks from fish, however this is a common problem with all large split ring pliers due to the length of the split ring opener. We have seen issues with the owner GP60 noses snapping off when used incorrectly. Used correctly, these pliers will last a lifetime, and the braid cutter will also last a long time if just used for braid and mono, it is not a wire cutter. They are spring loaded in the handle to always be open and ready for action.
